Amber L. Abbuhl
Biography: Amber has experience litigating a variety of business matters, including contract disputes, securities, insurance, oil and gas, and environmental matters in both state and federal court.
Before attending law school, Amber was a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Kansas from 1992 to 1999 (not currently licensed). Amber practiced as an audit manager for two national public accounting firms, and managed the financial statement audits of several national and regional insurance, manufacturing and non-profit companies. After nine years in public accounting, Amber became the Corporate Controller for a national service organization headquartered in Denver. Amber's expertise in financial accounting and auditing includes financial statement preparation, reporting, and analysis, as well as an understanding of internal control systems and accounting policy formulation. At law school, Amber served as Editor-in-Chief of the Denver University Law Review and graduated 2nd in her class of 269. She was also awarded membership in the Order of St. Ives.
